Aaron MILES
MILES, Aaron
STRENGTHS: True point-guard. A team-orientated player who can run a team. He came out of an excellent basketball school: he passes the ball in the right timing, he puts his teammates in good conditions to take open shots. Excellent assist man, he works on the Pick & Rolls, he drives and kick outs, he push the ball up court on the break and does a good job of feeding the big men. Solid defender. Good personality, no-nonsense. CAREER: The best assist man at Kansas, a very important college of the Big 12 conference. He played 4 great seasons with the Jayhawks, receiving many prestigious individual acknowledgements without ever reaching the double figure mark in points scored. He took part in the predraft camps but was not picked. Had his first meaningful season in the NBDL and he did well. 10pts and 6ass in his first European season in Pau, France. Decent stats in Spain and Greece before going back to the NBDL in summer 2010. OVERALL: A good point-guard, adapted to play alongside good offensive players. Good attitude, he possesses the fundamentals of the point guard and he’s a solid defender. He’s always done well in his past experiences (see Kansas), without however making it to the next level. The low level of his shooting beyond the arc is a burden. Does he have the talent and character to step up a level?
