Curtis BORCHARDT
BORCHARDT, Curtis
STRENGTHS: Pure center with impressive size and the attitude to play inside. He comes from an excellent school and that shows in the way he moves on the court. Intelligent, he never overdoes it, has a good behaviour and he has solid fundamentals. Intimidating in the paint, he is a good mover without the ball. He possesses 1-on-1 moves and he can pass the ball. A factor on the boards. Dynamic, he runs the court well. CAREER: Outstanding in his college years at Stanford, he was picked at number 18 in the NBA, where he did very little because of a foot injury which limited him to 16 games in two seasons. In his first real season with Utah, he was disappointing (3ppg, 3.3rpg). He was traded to Boston and then cut. He was excellent in his European debut with Granada, Spain. He stayed there four years before going to Villeurbanne, France, and spending almost all of 2009-10 on the sideline due to more injuries.
