Chris MOSS
MOSS, Chris
STRENGTHS: Power forward who likes to play around the basket. Slender, he does not weight much but he is physically tough. He can guard bigger guys and play as a 5 if required. Athletic, he does well in dynamic situations, he runs the court and jumps eagerly for the dunk. He can occasionally play the low post and work his way to the basket as he’s agile. Excellent rebounder. CAREER: He came out of college without drawing much attention. He made the All Big East third team with West Virginia, 11.7 at the Portsmouth Invitational Tournement. He career started in Europe, in the French ProB (second division) where he averaged a double-double with Golbey. He had a short stint in Israel before moving to Menorca in 2003-04 where he played two good seasons in LEB and was a positive surprise in the ACB before moving to Murcia. EVALUATION: This type of player is disappearing. He is a 4 without the size to play as a 5 but with the game of a center. He performed very well with Menorca, where he became a star thanks to a system that suited him but also to his undeniable will to fight and play beyond his limits. His attitude is excellent and he does a lot of work on both end of the court. If only he improved his shooting…
