Deutsche Bank Skyliners edged Gloria Giants Dusseldorf 66-68 on a Chris Moss buzzer-beater. The Skyliners scored the game’s last 6 points and held the hosts scoreless for the final three minutes to register the win. DaShaun Wood led the winners with 20 points and 8 assists. Alba Berlin won its first German League game under new head coach Muli Katzurin by beating TBB Trier 69-75. Julius Jenkins scored 28 and Derrick Allen added 18 to lead Berlin, which climbed to 14-6. EWE Baskets Oldenburg knocked Artland Dragons from a tie for third place with an 84-72 win. Luka Bogdanovic led five Oldenburg scorers in double figures with 17 points. EnBW Ludwigsburg outlasted BG Goettingen 96-90 as Jerry Green and Alex Harris combined for 37 points. John Little led Goettingen with 19 in defeat. In other games, Ratiopharm Ulm downed New Yorker Phantoms Braunschweig 85-71 behind John Bryant’s double-double, Walter Tigers Tubingen bested Telekom Bonn 70-82 as Anatoly Kashirov scored 20, LTi Giessen 46ers overcame BBC Bayreuth 82-86 and Mitteldeutscher BC needed overtime before disposing of Phoenix Hagen 79-87.
