In the biggest game in this round, Loko topped CSKA 74-68 at home on Saturday. Jeremiah Massey paced the winners with 16 points. A recovered Sasha Kaun had 18 points for CSKA. Jamont Gordon and Matjaz Smodis each added 15 for the guests, that trailed 62-58 midway through the fourth quarter. Massey, Mike Wilkinson and Liomel Chalmers shined in crunch time to lead Loko to a big win. Spartak defeated Unics 72-70 in St. Petersburg also on Saturday. Henry Domercant led the winners with 17 points. Marko Popovic had 19 points for Unics, Maciej Lampe added 13, Kelly McCarty 11 and Igor Zamanskiy 10. A free throw by Vladimir Veremeenko gave Unics a 69-70 edge but a put-back basket by Miha Zupan and a free throw by Patrick Beverley allowed Spartak to win the game. Khimki thrashed Nizhniy Novgorod 93-64 at home on Saturday behind 18 points from Thomas Kelati. Vadim Panin added 16 while Travis Hansen and Sergey Monya each had 14 in an easy home win for Khimki. Krasnye Krylia improved to 6-10 by topping Enisey 63-71 on Sunday. Gerald Green led Krylia with 19 points. JR Bremer added 18 while Brion Rush had 11 for the winners, that trailed 36-30 at halftime but sealed the outcome long before the final buzzer. In other games, Dynamo bested Triumph 88-77.
