The Spalding Hoophall Classic 2011 took place at the famous Springfield’s Basketball Hall of Fame last weekend. Between American top nation prospects, a pair of European tried to keep growing in their team. Turkish Kevin Kaspar (‘93) and Lithuanian Benas Griciunas (‘95) are showing their talent at Findlay College Prep sited at Nevada and one of the best programs in the country. Findlay played two games at the event, a Sunday win against St. Andrew’s School and a great victory against powerful Dallas Lincoln HS the day after. On Sunday’s game Kaspar played 14 minutes and completed his stats with 2 points, 2 rebounds, 2 dimes and one steal, and Griciunas played only one minute and hit a bucket. On Monday’s game, Griciunas watched from bench how his turkish teammate played only two non-productive minutes.
