Asseco Prokom Gdynia and Trefl Sopot jumped out to 1-0 leads in their respective best-of-seven Polish League semi-finals series with midweek wins. Defending champion Prokom pulled away to beat Energa Czarni Slupsk 74-59 on Tuesday. Daniel Ewing scored 14, Tommy Adams 13 and Filip Videnov 12 to pace the winners. Ermin Jazvin recorded 18 points and 9 rebounds for Slupsk in defeat. In Wednesday’s game, Sopot downed PGE Turow Zgorzelec 62-76. The visitors pulled away in the fourth quarter when they held Turow to just 9 points. Filip Dylewicz shined with 24 points for the winners and Lawrence Kinnard added 14.
