BK Prostejov were outgunned 96-90 by Zadar in the highest scoring game of Last 16 Week 2, but that was definitely not because Eugene Lawrence fell short in the scoring department.
The 25-year-old point guard scored 37 points in 38 minutes, with an outlandish 68.4% shooting from the field, including 5 of 7 from behind the arc. The American even added five rebounds and four assists to his perfect all-around performance.
This did not prove enough for the Czech team to avoid defeat in Croatia on Tuesday night, but the American reached an efficiency index rating equal to his total points, to take home the Player of the Week award.
