Mardy Collins (197-G-84) is a new member of Bornova. The American guard joined Bornova for the rest of the season. It will be the first time in Europe for Collins, who played in the NBA the last four years. He spent 2009/10 with the LA Clippers averaging 2.6 points, 1.2 rebounds and 1 assist. He started his NBA career with the New York Knicks, who selected him as 29th pick at the 2006 NBA Draft. In his rookie season, Collins had 4.5ppg, 2rpg and 1.6apg for the franchise. His digits dropped to 3.2ppg, 1.6rpg and 1.9apg the following season, while in 2008 he had 2.2ppg and 1.1apg before his trade to LA Clippers in November. With the Clippers he collected 6ppg, 2.6rpg and 2.6apg for 38 games that season.
