Jamal Crawford took advantage of extended bankers' hours and proved money for Atlanta, banking in a 3-pointer from straight away with 5.7 seconds left to seal the Atlanta Hawks' 88-84 Game 3 victory over the Orlando Magic. The Hawks lead the best-of-seven series 2-1, with Game 4 Sunday night at Philips Arena.
Crawford had a game-high 23 points, while Joe Johnson had 21 and Josh Smith added 15 point and 10 rebounds for Atlanta, which has now taken five of seven meetings with the Magic this season.
Pau Gasol (17 points) came alive in the fourth quarter and Kobe Bryant scored 30 points as the Lakers move ahead in their series against the New Orleans (2-1). Meanwhile, the Knicks were no match once again for the Celtics which take a 3-0 advantage in the series. Rajan Rondo and co had a nice little stroll down the Garden dominating from the first minutes as the point-guard dished 20 assists on the way, a record for the franchise in the playoffs.
