It’s not a surprise, Kevin Love, was named the Most Improved Player of the year in the NBA. The Minnesota big man averaged 20.2 points and 15.2 rebounds per game, compared to 14 and 11 the previous season. Love made the breakthrough of cumulating 53 double double in a row, the most done since Elvin Hayes in 1973-74. Besides, he was the first to tally more than 30 points and 30 rebounds (31pts, 31rbds against the Knicks) in one game since Moses Malone in 1982.
