One of the best players in this Eurocup season is set to keep playing for his current team for two more years, as Cedevita reached an agreement with playmaker Dontaye Draper to extend his contract until the end of the 2012-13 season. Draper (180, 26) leads the 2010-11 Eurocup in index ranking (21.4 per game), fouls drawn (6.4) and assists (6.8), helping Cedevita to go all the way from the Qualifying Round to the Quarterfinals. Draper has also averaged 15.7 points, 4.2 rebounds and 2.2 steals in 10 Eurocup games so far. Draper has also applied to obtain the Croatian citizenship. He has previously played for Prima Veroli in Italy, Oostende in Belgium, Hyeres-Toulon in France and the Sydney Kings in Australia. Draper now hopes to lead Cedevita to the Eurocup Finals by surviving its two-way Quarterfinals series against Asefa Estudiantes.
