Lokomotiv Kuban completed a 2-0 sweep of BCM Gravelines-Dunkerque on Thursday night to seal a place in the EuroChallenge Final Four. After needing overtime to win the opening game of the Quarter-Final series, 92-91, at Gravelines on Tuesday, Kestutis Kemzura's Lokomotiv returned to Krasnodar and cruised to an 86-68 victory. Jeremiah Massey poured in 15 of his team-high 18 points in the first half for the hosts, who led by as many as 16 before going to the break with a 46-32 lead.
Spartak St Petersburg used a huge second half to power their way into the Final Four of the EuroChallenge with victory over Pinar Karsiyaka.The two teams were all tied up, 43-43, at half-time, but Spartak ran riot after the break to win by a final score of 89-71. Henry Domercant shined with 23 points, 5 steals and 4 assists.
Meanwhile, Krka forced game 3 thanks to 75-61 victory in Sofia against Lukoil Academic. Goran Ikonic had 16 points for the winners while teammate Smiljan Pavic scored 13 and pulled down a season-high 14 rebounds. Finally, Oostende will try to close out its series as it travels to Ventspils tomorrow with a 1-0 advantage.
