Brose Baskets Bamberg flaunted its dominance in the German League by routing second-placed Deutsche Bank Skyliners 63-81 on the road Saturday. Tibor Pleiss recorded 20 points and 9 rebounds as Bamberg improved to 21-1 – six wins more than Frankfurt. Predrag Suput hit back-to-back three-pointers in a 0-8 start and the lead reached 4-22 before the end of the opening quarter as the defending champs cruised to victory. Brian Roberts added 13 points and Casey Jacobsen and Suput scored 12 each. Pascal Roller paced Frankfurt with 17. Telekom Bonn denied Alba Berlin a chance to take over second place when it took a 64-76 win in the German capital. Bonn led by as many as 30 points in the third quarter before letting up. Nic Wise scored 19 and Jeremy Hunt 16 for Bonn. Derrick Allen and Immanuel McElroy netted 15 each for Alba. Artland Dragons defeated ratiopharm Ulm 91-87 led by Darren Fenn’s 24 points to move even with Berlin in third place at 14-7. Louis Campbell sank a pair of free throws with 2 seconds remaining to lift EWE Baskets Oldenburg over LTi Giessen 69-70. Campbell finished with 18 points. Second-bottom BBC Bayreuth upset BG Goettingen on the road 74-76. Goettingen’s Louis Dale missed a three-pointer at the buzzer for the win. Pete Campbell paced Bayreuth with 18 points and Drew Neitzel added 15 points and 7 assists. Dale scored 19 for Goettingen. The other Week 21 winners were Phoenix Hagen, TBB Trier and Walter Tigers Tubingen.
