German forward Julius Wolf ('93) was awarded with the event MVP Trophy after guiding Urspring to the title in the U-18 Cholet Mondial Basket Tournament, held in the French city some days ago. He also ended as the best scorer, best rebounder and finished as the best player of the final after beating Spaniards of Torrejon (67-69). In this contest Wolf collected a 31 efficiency behind 22 points (8/15 FG), 16 rebounds and 3 assists. At the losing effort point-guard Sergio Herranz ('93) had 22 points (8/13 FG), 6 rebounds and 1 assist.
The Germans beat Strasbourg (60-49) and Torrejon (47-41) in the first round, Orleans (66-60) in the quarterfinals and Cholet in the semi-finals (55-57).
