Banvit added more strength to their roster as Turkish club signed Juan Dixon (191-G-78, college: Maryland) for the reminder of the season. Turkish side which stands in third place of the league replaced Antonio Graves who will be out of action for about a month due to injury. Dixon is a well known player in the NBA as the experienced guard spent seven seasons in a row with the Washington Wizards, Portland Trail Blazers and Toronto Raptors. Dixon had a spell at Aris Thessaloniki last season where he averaged 11.6 points in the Greek League and 14.3 points in the Eurocup. Then, Dixon played for Unicaja Malaga of Spain as he showed his scoring ability in ACB with 18.8 points per game, he also averaged 12.7 points, 2.3 rebounds an 1.0 assist in 3 Euroleague games.
