Cibona provided the biggest surprise in the Adriatic League this weekend by edging Union Olimpija 75-84 in Ljubljana on Saturday. Cibona improved to 8-9 while Olimpija is still first at 11-6. Leon Radosevic led the winners with 24 points. Goran Vrbanc added 15 while Tomislav Zubcic had 11 for Cibona. Kenny Gregory led Olimpija with 19 points. Goran Jagodnik added 17, Damir Markota had 12 while Vlado Ilievski got 10 for the hosts, that led 43-41 at halftime. Cibona, led by an outstanding Radosevic, rolled after the break to get a quality road win. Cedevita moved up to 9-8 by edging defending champion Partizan 88-84 at home on Sunday. Dontaye Draper paced the winners with 23 points. Damjan Rudez added 14 while Bracey Wright and Trent Plaisted each had 13 for Cedevita. Nathan Jawai had 18 points for Partizan, James Gist added 13, Dragan Milosavljevic 12 and Dusan Kecman 11. Cedevita led 48-39 at halftime, improved its lead to 67-54 after 30 minutes and held off a wild Partizan rally to record a historical win. CEZ Nymburk improved to 8-9 by thrashing Zadar 91-70 at home on Saturday. Pavel Pumprla paced the winners with 21 points. Ladislav Sokolovsky added 16, Tre Simmons had 12 while Pavel Slezak got 11 for Nymburk, that led 42-30 at halftime, boosted its margin to 67-46 after 30 minutes and never looked back. Hemofarm Stada also improved to 8-9 by beating Siroki TT Kabeli 84-90 behind 34 points from Boris Savovic. Miljan Pavkovic added 13 for Hemofarm, that trailed 84-80 with 3 minutes left. Pavkovic and Mladen Jeremic fueled a final 0-10 run that helped Hemofarm to win the game. Buducnost m:tel dropped to 10-8 due to a 75-68 road loss against Radnicki. Michael Lee led Radnicki with 21 points. Marko Savanovic had 18 points for Buducnost while Gintaras Kadziulis added 16. Free throws by Simonovic got Buducnost within 69-68 but the guests went scoreless in crunch time. In other games, Zagreb CO thrashed Krka 104-82 at home behind 25 points from Luka Zoric.
