Biella announced the signing of Albert Miralles on a one year deal with an option for a second. Born in Barcelona in 1982, Miralles has already played in Italy. At hardly 20-years of age he signed a three-year deal with Virtus Bologna, but was loaned first in the second division at Rimini (10pts, 6rbds) and then in the elite with Roseto (6.5pts, 4.6rbds). In 2004, he was drafted in the second round (39) by the Toronto Raptors. He spent the last two seasons at Lagun Aro Gipuzkoa in the Spanish ACB.
“I am very happy to be back in Italy and play for Biella – said Miralles – I will give everything I have for the club and I will leave it out on the floor in training too. I’m sure we can have a good season”.
