With two games to go, Valencia, Valladolid and DKV Joventut got a step closer from the Copa del Rey. Valencia made it 8 in a row over Manresa with starring roles for Rafa Martinez (20) and Nando De Colo (19). Defence was key once again for Valladolid: for the second time running, it had to defend the last possession to win the game and it went well. The duel between DKV and Fuenlabrada, now without Batista who signed at Vitoria, was a lot more offensive: 186 points scored (100-86) amongst which 28 three-pointers! All three teams, as well as Fuenlabrada are tied at 9-6, while Bilbao and Gran Canaria will apparently fight it out for the last available ticket as both teams are tied with an 8-7 record. Elsewhere, Real Madrid and Vitoria had a tough time respectively against Menorca and San Sebastian but still came away with the victory. Vitoria is third in the table with 5 losses and Real Madrid is second but tied 12-3 with Barcelona, which had convincingly beaten Unicaja Malaga on Saturday.
