After averaging 27.4 shots over the first five games of the series, Chicago's Derrick Rose settled into the role of distributor Thursday and Carlos Boozer had his best offensive showing of the postseason to lead the Bulls to a 93-73 rout in a series-clinching Game 6 victory in Atlanta.
The Bulls clamped down on defense, holding Atlanta to 27-for-74 shooting (36.5 percent) and 1-for-11 on 3-pointers. With Rose scoring 19 points (13 below his average for the first five games) on 8-for-14 shooting, he made up for that drop-off with a series-high 12 assists while Boozer pitched in 23 points, 10 rebounds, 10 rebounds and five assists.
