Hapoel Migdal Jerusalem improved its roster for the upcoming future by inking small forward Luke Jackson to a two-year deal on Wednesday. Jackson (2.01 meters, 29 years old) arrives from Idaho of the NBA Development League, where he averaged 14.8 points, 5.1 rebounds and 4.2 assists in 18 games last season. Jackson has also played for Carife Ferrara in Italy, as well as for Miami, Toronto, Los Angeles Clippers, Boston and Cleveland in the NBA since finishing his NCAA career at the University of Oregon. Jackson had an outstanding senior year with Oregon, averaging 21.2 points, 7.2 rebounds and 4.5 assists in 31 games, making it to several NCAA All-American first teams. He won the NBDL title with Idaho in 2008 and has been a member of United States national teams. Jackson is now set to make his Eurocup debut with Hapoel next season.
