Banvit downed Erdemir 92-98 in overtime on the road on Saturday. Baris Ermis paced the winners with 26 points and 10 assists. Keith Simmons added 19 points, Chuck Davis 15, Lance Williams 14 and Vladimir Golubovic 12. Both teams were tied at 66-66 after 30 minutes and the game went to overtime, 88-88, but Banvit escaped with a tough road win. Besiktas Cola Turka improved to 13-7 by thrashing Oyak Renault 89-68 at home on Saturday behind 16 points from Michal Ignerski. Marcelus Kemp added 15, Mire Chatman 13, Serkan Erdogan 11 and Fedor Likholitov 10. Besiktas led 74-56 after 30 minutes and never looked back. In other games, Antalya topped Aliaga 91-80, Olin Edirne defeated Bornova 81-68, Tofas downed Mersin 82-73 while Karsiyaka beat Turk Telekom 101-86 with 27 points from Andre Smith.
